On January 9, 2026, the annual conference of the Hubei Generator Set Industry Association was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, under the theme "Powering the World: Uniting Guangdong-Hubei Business Forces." The event brought together leading energy enterprises, industry experts, and business elites from across China. During the conference, Mr. Luo Wanxiang, General Manager of KING POWER, officially assumed the role of President of the Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce. Alongside Mr. Wan Ling, Vice General Manager of KING POWER, they delivered speeches emphasizing innovation and industrial collaboration to drive high-quality development in the energy sector.
As a veteran in the energy industry, Mr. Luo Wanxiang serves as General Manager of Shenzhen Jindong Keli and Dongguan Best Power, while holding leadership roles in multiple overseas chambers of commerce. His company, Shenzhen Jindong Keli, has been a pioneer in diesel generator sets for 32 years, with products distributed nationwide and exported globally. In his speech, Luo stated, "The chamber is not just a bridge for economic cooperation between Guangdong and Hubei but also a catalyst for energy transformation aligned with China’s dual-carbon goals." He outlined three strategic priorities: advancing smart and low-carbon generator technologies, fostering Guangdong-Hubei industrial integration, and expanding international partnerships via Myanmar and other markets.
Mr. Wan Ling, Vice General Manager of KING POWER, proposed a "Green Industrial Microgrid Ecosystem" framework. Citing China’s 2026–2030 Industrial Green Microgrid Guidelines, he highlighted Hubei’s role as a pilot for new energy systems. "By integrating distributed generation, energy storage, and AI-driven control systems, we can reduce industrial energy costs by over 30%," Wan explained. KING POWER’s collaborations with companies like Three Gorges Energy have yielded breakthroughs in wind turbine fault prediction and smart circuit breakers, ensuring microgrid reliability.
The Hubei Energy Development Report 2026 revealed that renewable energy accounts for 40% of the province’s installed capacity, though gaps remain in energy storage and smart grid technologies. Luo emphasized Guangdong’s strengths in digital energy and power electronics, contrasting with Hubei’s manufacturing prowess. "Joint R&D labs could address challenges in hybrid renewable systems," he suggested. The report also noted Hubei’s plan to achieve universal rural EV charging infrastructure by 2027, creating demand for electric generators and storage solutions.
Under Luo’s leadership, the Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce launched the "Guangdong-Hubei Energy Innovation Initiative," allocating ¥1 billion to support hydrogen power and carbon capture technologies. Wan Ling announced plans to leverage KING POWER’s global network to help Hubei enterprises expand into Southeast Asia. A flagship project—a Myanmar-based green data center powered by Hubei-made generators and Guangdong’s microgrid tech—aims to set a "Belt and Road" low-carbon benchmark.
The conference underscored the power of cross-regional collaboration in shaping China’s energy future. As Luo Wanxiang remarked, "Powering the world requires not just technological breakthroughs but ecological synergy. Let’s sail together toward a greener horizon."
